Champagne Con el Pendex/ Champagne With the Kid

Yo no había comido y no tenía copas.
Después me estaba chupando.
Me preguntó cuándo volvería.
..
I got a text from the kid -- who I call kid because he's three years younger than me. He had been contacting me now and then. Always when I least expect it, like when I was in bed naked with a man, naked also, and he called. This time it was in my office at 10 in the morning. Fully dressed. He wanted to see me. I thought I had tortured him enough, not answering his texts or calls. And I was leaving for Chile on the next day, so I told him if you want to see me it has to be tonight.
I was prepared to get stood up, but the buzzer rang and while I was waiting for him to come up I tried to convince mysled that the guy who had fucked me and not called for weeks and weeks, was going to show up in my apartment in seconds. Ring. There he was, exactly like when I saw him those times in the boliche. He came with three bottles of champagne and red bull. He opened the window and we stood there a while letting the wind hit our faces while he smoked.
We kept talking on my couch, each on opposite ends. I enjoy talking with him. I hadn't had dinner and we filled the glasses with champagne, red bull and ice. Perfect mix, I was tipsy with the first few sips.
Then we moved to my table, me on my second glass he on his third. We watched videos and listened to different songs, and danced, and he kept touching me more frequently, on my knee, on my arm, on my thigh.
I don't know exactly what lead to it, but suddenly he was kissing my neck and then he was taking off my clothes, my red shirt, my pants, my lace thong. Then he was putting me on my table, spreading my legs. Then he was licking me.
It's strange how fast social codes are broken, or change. One second we're civilised and talking about our jobs, and plans and trips, the next I'm lying on the table with his tongue in me.
We played between the living room and the bedroom all night. The sun was coming out and we had almost gone through the three bottles when he left. He asked when I was coming back. I fell asleep instantly and when I woke up I had a message form him saying, I had a great time, you're divine! (divine, or divina, is a very Argentine thing to say). Then he texted me again wishing me a good trip and saying he hoped to see me when I got back.
I hate to admit it, and it also scares me a little bit. But I thought of him every day when I was gone. I was excited to see him again. Now I'm savouring having him and not having him at the same time. Waiting either to call him, or for him to call me.

El Nórdico/The Nordic Guy

Me da pena. No se lo merece. Es una buena persona.
Lo mismo con el fotógrafo. No lo vi más.
..
This story isn't very exciting. It's just funny to me because of the nickname a friend gave the guy. It happened like this:
I accepted to go on my first blind date with a friend of a friend in Plaza Serrano.
The only thing I knew about him was that he had an exaggerated yankee appearance and that was all I needed. His head hovered above all of the little latin guys, super white skin, super blonde hair. I went to say hi and when he turned, he displayed his good guy, hansel and gretel face, blue eyes, rosy cheeks.
Telling this to a friend she said, I know this type of guy, they're called "BUTTERFACE."
And it was true! but it wasn't that bad. I liked how tall he is, and his broad shoulders, and how he dresses. You could tell some of the Argentine style rubbed off on him, he wasn't wearing the dorky clothes a lot of the Americans wear.
We ate frozen yoghurt sitting in the park benches, talked and people watched. He works in a think tank and is studying to get a doctorate degree. Then we went to a bar and talked some more until we finished out wine.
He's nice and smart so I went out with him a couple more times. But I was simply not attracted to him at all.
The last time I saw him was in Las Heras park. We laid on the grass watching people jump around in those ropes they tie to the trees. I was telling him that I was kind of rebelious when I was younger and he said, I should be more of a rebel, and leaned to kiss me. I said why not, and let him. And, poor butterface, it was the worst kiss. There wasn't even the shadow of a spark. I got up a second after and said I had to go. He walked me and, poor thing, grabbed my hand.
He texted me to see me a again a few times but I said no. I feel bad. He doesn't deserve it. He's a good guy.
Same with the photographer. Never saw him again.

Y nada. No intenta nada.

...

I had tried to follow the self-imposed rule of not even thinking of guys. I even did something so unlike me as going to workout. In a group, on top of that. I'm not a fan of moving much and if I sweat I like it to be anonymously from an elliptical in a gym/in the parks of Palermo.
But a friend convinced me to go with her to crossfit and I went with the intension of burning some calories, not ruining my anti-man goal.
We were about to start when my friend calls a guy that had arrived late. I was instantly attracted to him. Dirty blonde hair, big brown eyes, big mouth. But what I liked the most is that he made a couple of lame jokes and laughed at hoy stupid they were.
The thing is, we didn't split during the whole class. When I started to lag the group he, who's totally fit, would stay behind to be with me.
When we decided to not run the full eight thousand laps they assigned at walk instead, he told me he's a DJ and graphic designer, which I loved. Also, he lived in Miami a few years when he was little, just like me.
At the end of the class he invited me over to his place for dinner but I said I was dying to shower so gave him my number and he said he'd call to see me again.
We'll see. Bue it feels promising.

Meanwhile, with the good boy, we've seen each other three times. We went to dinner (pizza and sushi) after work and once to a bar in the weekend. And nothing. He hasn't tried anything. He waits for me in his car, opens the door, pulls out the chair, and doesn't lay a finger on me. I'm starting to wonder if he's gay? I don't think so. Maybe he's super conservative and extra careful because we both just came out mof long relationships and my brother and friends know his hundreds of brothers so there's some history there. still, it's been 10 years, it's time dude.

Café Con Un Niño Bueno / Coffee With a Good Boy

...

I got a Facebook message from my old flame. I wasn't expecting it at all after seeing him so happy with his girlfriend without showing the least bit of interest in me. He asked if I wanted to meet up and said to give him my phone number. I've known him for like 10 years, who cares about his Argentine girlfriend, I have the right to catch up. So I said yes and gave him my cel. He called a few minutes later and we got together that night in a cafe near my building. I loved that he was like, give me your number and BOOM, he calls right away. He said let's get together and BOOM, that same day. No games.
"I thought I saw you once at the Disco, but wasn't sure it was you," he said. It turns out, we not only ended up in Buenos Aires, he also lives three blocks away from me and shops at the same supermarket. I made the mental note to fix myself up a bit more when I go grocery shopping.
He had broken up with his girlfriend the previous wee. What a relief. I can see him without any guilt or fear of being a home-wrecker. And it would have seemed strange otherwise. He's not the type to cheat; he's a good guy.
He's been living here for a little over a year. He came to run one of his father's companies. It was loosing money because of all the corrupted unions, work laws and ridiculous bureaucracy of this country, but he had straightened things out and they're making money now. Life. He was in high school when I met him and now he's CEO.
